We didn't plan on originally coming here. Our target was another place a couple of store fronts down. But the lure of well spiced meats beckoned.
We were greeted by a very friendly man and got seated. Lebanese music pleasantly piped in we ordered Lamb Kebab and Hubby got the Meat Lovers Pita.
A pleasant surprise was the appetizer of Toum with warm pita. It was our first time to have this and it was delicious! I'm sure the Baba Ganoush and the Humus were equally delightful, but it was eclipsed by the Toum.
The meats were wonderfully tender and moist and the spices were on point.
Another favorite on the GPS! -

This place always has amazing food! It is usually empty when my husband and I come in and I have no idea why because it is really good. We have been coming here for years for lunch or dinner and usually get the house tray for 2. Great variety of food and a lot of it, we are big eaters and usually take home leftovers.

Ok guys, you need to stop browsing Yelp right now and go eat at Kabob. I know the name's a little generic, but it belies some ridiculously good Middle Eastern food.
I'm part Lebanese, I have a Lebanese side of the family that loves to cook the classics (hummus, grape leaves, meat/spinach pies, pilaf, kebab, tabbouleh, kibbeh), and I often seek out Middle Eastern restaurants when I'm out of town. Even so, I can say without a doubt that this is one of the best Middle Eastern meals I've ever had outside my mom's house.
The restaurant itself was surprisingly dead on a Saturday, and the dining room was nice but not spectacular in decoration. The staff - from the host to the server to the owner - were all personable and super friendly, and made the experience really pleasant - they truly went above and beyond what I'm used to from restaurants. The owner even gave me a tip on how to improve my hummus game!
The server was really flexible and attentive - he kept our glasses full and our bread baskets and (super addictive) garlic sauce bowls from going empty. We had all the classics listed above plus the House Tray and Kibbeh (raw and fried), so we covered a good part of the menu. And guys, it was all good. REALLY, REALLY good. Like, I was sad when I couldn't eat anymore good. And running out of room wasn't hard to accomplish because the portions were stupidly huge to boot. We ate two full dinners from it and it was just as good the second time.
I really can't say enough good about this place. It was just an unpretentious, no-frills restaurant where the service and food speak for themselves. The most perplexing and concerning thing to me is that there was no one there on a Saturday night, which brings me to my final point.
GO EAT AT KABOB, FLINT. Trust me, they do not make it like this in my area, and you're lucky to have a place like this in town. Give it a shot, and you won't be disappointed.
Seriously, please go - I need this place to still be open the next time I come to Michigan! -

If you want to think you are eating Middle Eastern food but don't like flavor or spice this is the place for you. Bland, boring food is served here. No garlic. No olives. Romain lettuce with a touch of yogurt. Server/host nice.
Restaurant is great if you have unsteady gait as the floor is very sticky, may not have been mopped for quite some time.
Would certainly not return nor recommend to anyone. -

Om nom nom nomnomnomnom!!! I think I landed on a new favorite! The food is fresh and perfectly seasoned. The choices are very satisfactory. The servers are really friendly and go out of their way to make your experience pleasant. Complimentary hot pita is served with fresh toum (a bit like garlic aioli), and it is hard to resist! My favorite things to order are a falafel appetizer, hummus, a pickle plate, and then the mix grill with fries (to be dipped in the toum), and a cup of lentil soup!
